a special old sewing machine

I pulled this out and realized it is much more special then I remember. She has lived in her little suitcase safe from the world of damage for fifty years. A gift from my mother after teachng me to sew at age five and giving me this little puppy when I left home and she had moved on to something much more grand. This is a little treasure in near perfect condition. Inspiration for me to use it again lies in some lovely new books.

  1. Gail, she's a beauty, destined for a spot in a museum at the rate you are taking care of her. Lovely, classic, pristine. Sure to sew up a gem of whatever your heart desires. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for a wonderfully relaxing day at Chez Gail :o)

  2. I think this is the most amazing machine I've seen in a long time. It's small, real metal, and the "icing on the cake" it has the best buttonholer ever made! I can't wait to see the skirt you're going to make on it! Let me know if you need help...
