Coronado in the Spring

There is a part of me that wants to live small. In a "Littlest Princess" attic room with just my Stuff. By the sea. Like a cabin in a ship. This lovely home was on the Coronado walk Val so generously took Judy n' me on yesterday morning. Val passes this house every morning on her way to the beach, walking Lola darling. Marcia and Gail, Val's favorite walk is really worth getting up early for!

I did promise Val that I would not publish her photo so I did not put this precious picture on my Grove blog for the world to see (as I did with Judy in her pj's showing the wonderful head rest covers she made). Val also had a wonderful surpise for us at the Del. There is a circle of bronze Dr. Suess characters, bigger than life, which I did photograph but I just don't have the patience to figure out how to download them this morning! So this blog is to be continued. Meanwhile, thank you Val for the wonderful morning and thank you Judy for getting us there! BTW, afterwards, we did go to Val's "Original Pancake House" and the crack pancakes are all she said they would be!

  1. Sounds like so much fun. I may have to roll out of bed early one day and join you guys. Lord knows I need the exercise. I just had two cups of crack tea and am feeling all warm and fuzzy.

  2. What a nice description. Do you really think all five of could manage the walk together? I see us kind of spilling over the edges of the sidewalk, all talking at once and tripping over dogs. But it sounds like a very good walk and I'd love to join in sometime.

I think I'd be happy most anywhere in Coronado, what a totally charming place to live.

  3. Well, I've influenced most of you on the tea, and some of you on the walk. If I could get you all over here to Coronado, life would be complete :o)

  4. 5 of us walking, talking, laughing, tripping with 4 dogs and 2 kitties would be the bomb! We must make it happen!
