The Kristina Logan Ring Club!

I've got mine! Loving it....

When Judy and Susan were here helping me out on Monday (thanks girls!) I wondered how I might 'present' Lucia's necklace. Well Tuesday a wedding invitation from my friend Holly arrived in a blue silk padded 7" x 9" box, tied with a ribbon and a crystal jewel! It couldn't have been more perfect, although I don't think I will share with her that her invitation became my gift box. But really if I went looking for days I would never have found something this perfect (That kind of thing has been happening to me a lot lately, the perfect thing at just the right time hhhhmmm....)

I pinned the necklace and simple matching earrings in place, typed up an enclosure in blue script, and retied it all with the netted bow. How elegant.

And Remembrance, well I must say I love it, not at all what the book or I had in mind, but it's darn cool and funky and fun. I think I'll bead embroider the shawl collar when I get a chance.

Miss you all, can't wait for Aug/Sep when I know I will have great gobs of playtime (I remain delusional, but that's ok)

  1. Okay, my first words were "WHHHAAATTTT? You got one too"? Oh hell, I think this one is more affordable than the Tabu ring so I think I'll go for this one for the 14th anniversary instead of the Tabu one. If all goes well, maybe the Tabu one at Xmas!

And the jewels are absolutely gorgeous along with a perfect means of presentation.

As for the delusion of having time in the next two months, I know the reality is that we have our Julian weekend! And I for one can't wait!

  3. Marcia, it's all so perfect and beautiful. I love your sentiment to Lucia too. She'll be so touched, she'll probably cry. Ok, well, maybe not, but I know I would if my mom went to so much trouble and gave me something as beautiful as this!

I love the Remembrance too. Susan and Judy told the felting story of this keepsake, and I think it came out beautifully. Since when does a knitted or felted anything come out the way it's shown on the pattern? It's wonderful as is. I know you will get a lot of wear out of this this winter.

And the ring... well, breathtaking! Though I'm not sure it's as pretty as my orange one ;o)

  4. Love it all. You are sure on a roll with beautiful stuff. I had my Kristina ring on today. When I met with my Apple guru for my one to one class she went a little crazy. They are certainly very special. Your wedding necklace for Lucia is really a gift of love. I have no idea how you designed and created that in no time amidst all your other commitments. You are amazing.

  5. It's truly amazing when the universe sends us what we need and want with such perfect timing! The gift box is exquisite and the most perfect setting for what it holds. I can see Lucia passing down her wedding necklace and earrings to all the girls yet to be!

    Good job Marcia!!! You ROCK!
